Beginners Pistol Fundamentals Class
Beginner Pistol Fundamentals Class 2-Hour Personal Firearms Training Course $50 Per Hour | 1–8 Students Per Class. Get personalized, hands-on instruction designed to help beginners build confidence, improve safety awareness, and develop strong fundamentals. Class size is kept to a maximum of 8 students, allowing for more individualized attention and instruction. Course Content: • Attitude & Mindset • Firearm Safety & Situational Awareness • Muzzle Awareness • Function Checks • Malfunction Recognition • Proper Grip & Stance • Trigger Control • Sight Alignment & Sight Picture • Shot Placement • Grouping & Accuracy • Proper Loading & Unloading Procedures Registration Information • Classes may be conducted with 1 to 8 students, with a maximum of 8 students per session. • Due to limited availability, we cannot accommodate drop-ins. • Your seat must be paid for in advance to reserve your spot. • Credit and debit cards are accepted by phone at 337-348-9408. • Anyone interested is welcome to stop by the school before registering to visit and learn more about the class.
(HOPS) High Occupancy Precision Shooting Course
$125 per student
Attitude, discipline and mindset are key elements in understanding the value of human life. This course is designed to train and evaluate the (“intermediate to advanced”) shooter in the proper way to control a firearm in a high occupancy environment.
Prerequisite:
Must complete an Instructors Safety Evaluation to include:
a) The ability to safely draw, shoot and reholster from concealment.
b) The ability to safely clear level one, two and three malfunctions of a pistol.
c) The ability to safely complete administrative, tactical and combat reloads of a pistol.
Equipment needed for class:
1) Firearm: Revolver or a semi-automatic pistol with *TWO magazines.
● Defense caliber (no magnum ammo)
2) Concealed carry holster (Strong side)
3) 250 rounds of ammunition ( no reloads). Factory ammunition only.
4) Eye and Hearing protection.
● Recommended clothing: No loose clothing or open toe shoes (remember we have hot brass flying) . The firing range is outdoors and may be affected by the weather so proper shoe wear is recommended. (Dirt/mud).
● Due to registration and seating, we cannot accommodate drop-ins.
● You MUST pay for your seating in advance.
● Credit or debit cards are accepted over the phone 337-348-9408 ● Any and all are welcome to come by the school to visit pre-registration.
